Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department

The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department is a 501c(3) organization, which means that monetary donations are usually tax deductible.

How to donate to our department:

1.       Mail
Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department
PO Box 51
Kutztown, PA 19530

2.       Drop off at any New Tripoli Bank branch. They can deposit directly into our account on our behalf.

3.       Stop by our station, 2500 Golden Key Rd, (GPS use Kutztown as the city), and Monday night after 6:30pm.

*** Important Note: The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department has only one fund drive per year. We mail this directly to the residents and property owners. We have heard from residents that they receive phone solicitations and/or “occupant” requests for donations. These solicitations do not benefit your local fire services. We use no outside solicitors; our volunteers do all the work with the exception of printing.

Note from our Chief:

Dear Residents of Weisenberg Township

Your support of the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department continues to be outstanding. Last year’s fund drive allowed us to meet our basic fiscal needs and maintain a first class service for our residents. Continued community support is appreciated by every member of the Department. Your donation is a key part of our budget and allows us to continue to maintain and improve our service to you.

Your donation allows the 31 Fire Fighters of the department to concentrate on improving their skills through regular training and drills every Monday night. Maintenance of equipment, apparatus and the station are also duties which require their time and leaves little time left for additional fundraising. This is why your donation is so important in keeping our operation strong.

In addition to our Fire Fighters, we have a staff of behind the scenes Supporters. These volunteers assist us with all non-fire related aspects of running our department including fundraising, maintenance, public relations, financials and social functions. If you are interested in assisting in these ways, please feel free to join us on the third Monday of every month during our meeting.

Please take the time right now to send in your contribution. Remember your donation allows us to continue a great American tradition – The Volunteer Fire Service.

Sincerely yours,

Chief Scott Freeman
